A full-page advertisement in our local newspaper costs approximately $6,750. This provided print space for the text of our open letter and the names of 1,000+ concerned citizens who signed the endorsement form. In addition, we also had costs associated with developing and maintaining this website, printing, etc.

At this point, contributions from folks like yourself have covered our costs for this initial campaign focus. Thank you. A full-age Journal-Star “Defend Our Democracy” ad was published on Sunday, Oct. 12th, with the names of over 1,000 endorsing Nebraskans.

However, we do not see this campaign as a one-shot effort. Defending our democracy will require a sustained effort, with Nebraskans doing our part. We are currently exploring additional way to make the voices of Nebraskans concerned about our democracy heard, loud and clear.
