Other Initiatives or Ideas
It is the goal of Stand Up Nebraska Campaign to support and encourage local groups to pursue a wide range of initiatives to ensure that the voices of Nebraskans concerned about our democracy are heard loud and clear.
To do that, we will try to provide a place for concerned folks to learn about the efforts of other Nebraskans. We will provide links and brief descriptions of those initiatives or on-going activities so that we might support and learn from each other. Please let us know of efforts that we might list here or any errors found on this page. Please also let us know if there is any way that Stand Up Nebraska or this website can help support your local efforts. Contact: “zinklarry@standupnebraska.org”.
As you think about how you might reach out to others and help to make concerned Nebraskan’s voices heard, please think about the networks to which you belong: churches, community groups, professional associations, schools, or regions of the state (i.e. central or northeast) . These networks can provide a reason to reach out to others and frequently have existing communication channels. Existing networks can provide an excellent place to start reaching out and organizing to make your voices heard. Please remember that, in most cases, there are many Nebraskans in those networks who share your concerns and they, like you, are wanting to know what they can do to help.
