Our Mission
Two hundred and fifty (250) years ago, fifty-six (56) brave souls risked their lives by standing up and signing the Declaration of Independence to declare our independence from an autocratic king. Eighty (80) years ago over 400,000 Americans lost their lives in World War II to defend our democracy against threats by global fascist, authoritarian powers.
Today, our democracy and our Constitutional rights are threatened from within, by an authoritarian Administration and its Congressional allies. We know that hundreds of thousands of Nebraskans have concerns about these threats to our democracy. It is our mission to ensure that the voices of Nebraskans who are concerned about threats to our democracy are heard. It is our mission to stand up together, with other concerned Nebraskans, to save our democracy now, for ourselves, our children, our grandchildren, and our great grandchildren.
